What is the chemical equation for: hot iron reacts with hot steam to form iron(II,III) oxide and hydrogen gas is released?

Iron(II,III) oxide has the formula   and water steam has the same formula as water, Therefore the unbalanced equation has the form

To balance this equation, first look at   one at the left and at the right. So give at the left the coefficient It becomes

Then count oxygen at the left side and at the right side. Thus give at the left the coefficient

And finally take into account hydrogen at the left, at the right. So it is enough to give the coefficient to

Now the equation is balanced.
